This year we at The Surf Experience would like to get you to the beach as soon as possible , so help us to help you by heading out of luggage control , take a left and head towards the light aircraft hanging from the ceiling.
Our driver "Sugar" will be waiting OUTSIDE there to whisk you away to sunny Lagos. We normally can anticipate any early or late arrivals , but in any eventuality , please wait around in that area.

Any Problems call Sugar on 00351 914378086 and he'll help you. Transfer cost €25. Early morning flights leaving Faro before 8am or landing after 9pm €40.

Lost Luggage - If you're one of the small minority unlucky enough to have lost an item of luggage , you need to report this BEFORE LEAVING THE LUGGAGE CONTROL , you'll need to quote the Surf Experience address and it'll be normally delivered within a day.

When booking your flights, bear in mind that if you arrive in Faro before 09.00 you should be able to surf that same day. same applies if you fly out of Faro after 20.30, you will be able to surf on your last day too.

THE SURFHOUSE will officially be going to ELECTRIC water heating this month changing from the old GAS style that the centre of LAGOS is known for. This will improve the constant temp and the pressure.
 
THURSDAY BBQs and TUESDAY PANCAKE day is now in full effect!!!

So here we are - the season in ernest. Full team present? Ay Captain!!
 
We have had eight TOBYs pass through the SURF EXP so far this year - What??!!! I´m changing my name - Gornall of course doesn´t need to.
 
For the first time this year we had TURBOT at the Mixed Fish Grill - now this is life changing - double life changing as the SARDINES this year are off the hook. Did I ever tell you that if the sea went flat everyone would be satisfied just by the eating here?? Well, I am.
 
I love this place.
 
The Ocean you ask? - it´s wet. Already in June we´ve had a couple of hefty swells come through and my word there´s a few tasty banks out there - super hot!! ..yet not quite as hot as last weekends wave of heat - flipping nora!!
 
It´s cooled down slightly for us to scrub down the BBQ monster and fire it. This weeks thursday menu reads - Lemon Pork, Spicy Chook, Chouriço , THE Famous Ozzie Rissol, Arroz Verde, Roasted Veggie. Roof terrace, Vinho Verde. You know.
 
Once again a big thanks to everyone who made it down over the Volcano weeks and just said f**k it if I get stuck. Surf on average this year has been pretty good - long may it prosper.
 
Oh and a BIG congratulations to MATT and TOBYG for coming 1st and 2nd in their FPS portuguese instructors course. The third guy was blind.                  
 
I lie there was 25!!!
 
Oh and good luck to BRE who´s going to defend his title as the CZECH champion next week.

Thanks for an awesome three weeks, I really enjoyed my time with you guys. You've got one of the few (maybe only) surf camps around Europe which can cater for absolute beginners and experienced surfers, in a fun and supportive environment.
